MERQ Consultancy is conducting a three-day training for data collectors as part of the Cordaid-commissioned study on the effects of Performance-Based Financing (PBF) on health worker outcomes in Ethiopia. The training aims to build technical capacity to gather high-quality data on health workers’ motivation, job satisfaction, and retention. Guided by Herzberg’s two-factor theory and Franco’s health workforce framework, and employing a mix of rigorous scientific methods, the study will generate evidence to inform sustainable and quality-driven PBF implementation in Ethiopia. We are pleased to collaborate with Cordaid on this impactful initiative, which helps strengthen Ethiopia’s health system by supporting programs implemented to improve health worker outcomes.
